Bombay Talkies plot
One hundred years of Indian cinema is celebrated and honored with this collection of four short films. In the first segment 'Ajeeb Dastaan Hain Yeh', Avinash comes out and meets Dev, who he suspects is also gay. The second short story, 'Star' tells of a perpetual job-seeker who is visited by his father's ghost who teaches him a lesson in life. In the third story, 'Sheila Ki Jawaani', we see how a twelve-year-old boy is inspired by a movie star to become what he wants. Finally, the fourth story 'Murabba' is about Vijay, who sets out to meet Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan because of his father's dying wish.
