Bodyline plot

In the summer of 1932/1933, the England cricket team played a series of Test series in and against Australia. In these series, the English use a throwing technique called 'Bodyline' in which the ball is thrown directly at the batter's body. This resulted in numerous injuries to the Australians, including a fractured skull. This controversial test series caused a huge wave of anger towards the English and severely damaged the relationship between the two countries. The game of cricket itself was also changed forever.
