Blackout plot
Engineer Christopher Pelly is temporarily blind and he is awaiting eye surgery. Meanwhile, Pelly goes to London to visit a friend, but is accidentally dropped off at the wrong address in Kensington by the taxi driver. Pelly, unable to see, goes inside what he thinks is his friend's house and immediately stumbles upon a corpse. The victim has a knife in the back and the three men responsible for this murder are still in the house. When the three killers realize that Pelly is blind, they find another dead man unnecessary, knock him down and then throw Pelly on the street. The police are skeptical about Pelly's story because no body has been found. After a successful eye surgery, Perry sets out to solve the murder mystery himself. He returns to the scene of the murder and meets Patricia Dale, who is looking for her missing brother Norman.
