Black Museum plot

Nish (Letitia Wright) is on his way and comes across a museum near an abandoned gas station: “Black Museum”. It's run by the somewhat odd Rolo Haynes (Douglas Hodge), a former tech company employee whose job was to find people interested in participating in experimental products. While giving Nish a tour and showing all the criminal (technical) artifacts, he tells three different stories. These all have to do with making special experiences possible. How a doctor can feel the pain of his patients, putting someone's consciousness in your own head and the chance for a man on death row to live on in holographic form.

Well okay, certainly that first story that is also by far the best developed. The other two are a bit less - the length really works then - and the ending isn't very surprising either. At some point, things like that can be drawn out in this series. Acting is also mediocre and although the technical stuff is nice, it's also more of the same. 2.5*.

Very nice episode of Black Mirror. An overarching science fiction story, within which two other stories are told. The first in particular is very gruesome, and the second is besides very comical, especially disturbing. The setting in the Black Museum works well, and the museum owner is a good storyteller, who takes us into his special stories. The twist at the end (mother lives on in the girl) felt a bit redundant and really didn't add anything to the story, it actually detracted from it. Also one of the better episodes.
