Black Gold plot

"Black Gold in Glorious Cinecolor!"

Early 1920s. In the desert between Mexico and Texas, the Indian Charley Eagle owns a small ranch where he trains the horse 'Black Hope'. Charley believes Black Hope is capable of winning the Kentucky Derby. He gets to know the young Chinese Davie Chung. His father was murdered by a gang of smugglers and Charley illegally takes him to his ranch. Charley and his wife Sarah then adopt David. Charley's plans for Black Horse come to the fore when oil is found on his ranch.
