Bîranînen Li Ser Kevir plot
Hussein and Alan are determined to make a film in post-war Iraq about 'Anfal', the military operation against the Kurds in the 1980s. But their limited budget and problems with the cast make this an almost impossible mission. As a little boy in Iraq, filmmaker Hussein saw how soldiers evacuated the Kurdish cinema where his father worked. Now that he is an adult, he wants to make a film about the military operation in which more than 182,000 Kurds lost their lives.
