Big Town plot
"Now see the radio show that thrilled millions!"
Steve Wilson is a critical newspaper publisher. The devoted Lorelei Kilbourne is Steve's friend and assistant. Steve wants to get rid of the competing tabloids in his region and takes over, among others, the Illustrated Daily Press. He uses his newspaper empire as a bastion of truth in the fight against corruption in the big city. In his struggle, however, Steve encounters a local criminal gang and threatens to be defeated by the many lawsuits against him by corrupt people.
