Beyond the Sun plot

Nader has to fulfill his military service as a guard in a Syrian prison. There he sees a colleague indulge in torturing a detainee. The young man refuses to be ordered by his officer Abu Hanan to participate in these practices himself. But that choice is not simply accepted by the manager. Will Nader be able to find a way to survive within the walls of this institution without harming others?
