Beyond the Curtain plot
A storm causes an American airliner, which took off from Berlin, to veer off course over East Germany. It is forced to land. After some formalities, the pilot is allowed to continue the journey, but flight attendant Karin von Seefeldt is arrested because she once fled East Germany. Her fiancé, pilot Jim Kyle, isn't willing to leave it at that.
