It's really hard for cashier Emma Beeskow. Emma feels lonely in the metropolis of Berlin. Her colleagues and friends lead busy lives, but not her at all. She wants to meet new people and that gives her a very bizarre idea: Emma makes customers' purses disappear and later presents herself as the honest finder. August, a homeless person, realizes Emma's game and begins to take an interest in her.
