Beneath Us All plot
Foster child Julie finds herself in a precarious situation with her current living situation. She's about to turn eighteen and is about to leave her current home, run by the terribly inept Todd and Janelle. Todd is both verbally and physically abusive and Janelle is often emotionally drained from caring for or protecting Julie and her other foster children. Julie's protective bond and loyalty to her younger foster siblings puts her in the unenviable position of having to decide what's best for her, or stay behind to provide them with some semblance of stability and safety.
