Bekötött Szemmel plot

A soldier on death row, urged on by a chaplain, prays to a saint revered for his miracles. At the time of the execution, the soldier disappears in a bombardment. The chaplain thinks he stayed in the bombardment, but the soldiers think he escaped and speak of a miracle. The chaplain will face a problem of conscience: should the masses be made to believe in a miracle or not?
