In 1975, television producer Aaron Spelling was looking for a new TV hit and he thought he had found it in the following concept: Three beautiful female police officers, who become private detectives in the service of a mysterious man named Charlie. He first calls the show 'The Allley Cats', but Spelling and cast quickly change it to 'Charlie's Angels' and once he takes on Farrah Fawcett-Majors (Tricia Helfer), Kate Jackson (Lauren Stamile) and Jaclyn Smith (Christina Chambers) for the series, a new genre of jiggle television is born and the series becomes a worldwide phenomenon.
