Begurebis Gadaprena plot

Guja and Trifona are forced to sit opposite each other in an overcrowded third-class train compartment. Guja is a peasant and coarse-mouthed type, but he lovingly takes care of a sparrow in the inside pocket of his coat. The chic Trifona impersonates a celebrated singer and tells his curious traveling companions about successful performances in exotic places and beautiful theaters. During the journey, Guja is greatly annoyed by the stories of the distinguished Trifona, who he believes is a con man. He asks in increasingly crude words Trifona to stop telling nonsense, but Trifona is defended by the entire compartment during a scuffle. When the men meet again the next day, a new confrontation is inevitable, but the roles are reversed.
