Beg Inokhodtsa plot

While the old horse Gulsary and his master Tanabai struggle through the night hoping to get home before the old beast dies, Tanabai reminisces about his life with his faithful friend. After World War II, he is hired as a horse herder on a newly established collective farm where he meets Gulsary, a wild young stallion who repeatedly tries to escape. They bond and Gulsary becomes his horse. He also wins an important festival with it, but this attracts attention from high lords who can do nothing with the wild beast, but still do everything to keep him away from Tanabai.
