Before and After plot

"Love and Beauty – Can one woman have them both?"

An overweight housewife faces her weight problem when her husband abandons her. She has two very good friends. One is happily married and just like her is overweight, the other is a lot thinner but after her engagement she wants to do everything she can to become even thinner so that she will fit in her grandmother's wedding dress when she gets married. Just like her, the housewife is now also going to work on it and makes herself the requirement to appear a lot lighter at the upcoming wedding. But the bride herself is too fanatical about dieting and has to pay for it at the reception of her own wedding.
