"Life. Love. Lyrics."
Musician Becks cancels her Brooklyn apartment lease to move in with her long-distance friend. She moves to Los Angeles where she wants to surprise her beloved. Unfortunately it ends in a minor key and Becks moves to her mother where she has to deal with the narrow-minded village she managed to flee years ago. An unexpected friendship arises.
