Beau Masque plot

In 1950s France, the fates of four characters are intertwined. Pierrette Amable is 25 years old, she is a militant for the Communist Party and a representative of the trade union movement in a textile factory in the North of France. Beau Masque is a handsome Italian worker who is madly in love with Pierrette but has never understood her political activities. Philippe Letourneau, grandson of the founder of the factory, is also in love with Pierrette, a sincere love, but doomed to fail.
