Batang West Side plot
"A Filipino soul, lost and found on West Side Avenue."
A Filipino teenager is shot dead on a sidewalk in New Jersey, US. An investigation is launched and his family and friends are interviewed. Gradually, more is revealed about him, and also about the Filipino community in America in general, including the destructive effect of the drug 'shabu' on her youth. The detective on the case also has his own personal demons to deal with with his violent past.
