Bao Bei Er plot
In the 1990s, China experienced a huge increase in abandoned children. The government chooses to place the children in foster families. Jiang Meng is one of these children and is forced to leave her foster home when she is eighteen. In the hospital where she works, she comes into contact with a sick girl. Jiang Meng learns that the girl's father wants to part with her and springs into action.
