Bank Holiday plot

Nurse Catherine Lawrence and Geoffrey decide to spend a weekend at a seaside hotel. Catherine's thoughts, however, keep on a patient who died in childbirth that morning, but Geoffreys, driven to despair, gives her no rest. Meanwhile, Doreen Richards and her friend Milly are on their way to the same place for a beauty pageant. The family Arthur, May and their children are also on their way there and want to spend a day at the sea.
