Balzac plot
"He burned with ambition. He lusted for life. He lived for passion."
Balzac's life is characterized by three themes: loneliness, remorse and lack of love. It all started in his youth, when he was raised (read: humiliated) by his exceptionally cold mother. The friendly lady of the house Madame de Berney introduces him to love, but that experience, too, turns into a painful fiasco.
