Avant l'Oubli plot

Marseille, 1957. The city receives many political refugees from the Mediterranean. Jeanne is a Spanish woman who fled the Franco regime in the late 1930s. She is married and the mother of a little girl, works in a soap factory and lives a peaceful life. But one day she is asked to hand out pamphlets to the Algerian workers in the factory. She accepts that and this gradually becomes a commitment for her. Then she meets Ali Redjala, an activist, who entrusts her with new tasks. But that is not without problems.
