Ava plot
13-year-old Ava is spending her summer on the Atlantic coast when she discovers that her eyesight will fail her sooner than expected. Her mother decides to act like everything is normal so that Ava can have the best summer of her life, but Ava faces the problem in her own way. She steals a dog from a young man on the run.
