Italian journalist Walter Mancini and his wife Eve travel to Mexico in an old Ford with a caravan. When he doesn't drink, Walter abuses his wife both mentally and physically. When Eve eventually persuades Walter to take a hitchhiker, it turns out that the hitchhiker is a psycho, wanted by the police for a number of robberies and murders...
