Auslandstournee plot

Zeki, a 42-year-old Turkish life song singer, has performed in Turkish clubs across Europe. Mahmut, an old friend from the troupe Zeki used to be a part of, dies, leaving behind a daughter, Senay. Zeki was not aware of this and meets her for the first time during the funeral. Since Zeki is the only one who knows Senay's "aunt" Cicek, Mahmut's neighbors ask Zeki to take Senay to her. Only the exact address is not known and so begins a search that leads via Germany, Amsterdam and France to Turkey. For Zeki the journey is a confrontation with his past, for Senay an introduction to the world of adults.
