Aus einem Deutschen Leben plot
Film biography of Rudolf Höss, commander of the Auschwitz extermination camp. Based on the book 'Der Tod ist mein Beruf' by Robert Merle, after Höss' own diaries. Rudolf Höss attended school with Eichmann in Dachau, where he was prepared for his job as a camp commander. Two years later, he was appointed to Auschwitz and it was he who introduced the gas Zyklon-B.
