Olga is a successful lawyer in Vienna with Hungarian roots. She doesn't really know much about her family's past. Her mother, who fled to the West in 1953 but later returned to Budapest, never said much about it. When Olga's mother falls ill, Olga goes to Budapest to nurse her and unravel that dark family secret. But then she will also have to hold her own life up to the light.
