Musician Alex Zhang Hungtai has been abroad for a long time and is returning to Hawaii. He doesn't even know what he's looking for. There is an unspoken past that resounds in his melancholy howling saxophone solos. He wanders around a bit lost until he meets Akiko, an older woman who takes him under her wing. She drives him around the beautiful green island and in the meantime tells openly about her own life. As their relationship grows, Alex begins to feel more and more at home.
