Auf der Straße plot
After the sudden death of her husband, Hanna Berger is faced with an insurmountable mountain of debt. Her home is confiscated, her bank card is withdrawn, and she has no choice but to appeal to the OCMW. However, Hannah has not taken into account that relatives who are financially able to do so will have to help pay for the maintenance of the needy. Unthinkable for Hanna because her daughter Elke has not wanted any contact with her for years.
