Através da Janela is a tragedy about a woman who cannot free herself from her 22-year-old son Raimundo. Selma's love is obsessive and their relationship has an erotic undertone. Her son's changed, more indifferent attitude leads the mother to suspect that he has a new girlfriend. Desperate with jealousy, she will do anything to secure her son's love. Love turns to hate when the mother becomes an accomplice to murder.
