Asfouri plot

Beirut, 1970s. Karim, a young Muslim boy, lives with his family in the Sanayeh district in a traditional building built by his grandfather in the 1920s. One day the residents have a meeting about the necessary renovation of the building, but they cannot agree on the color of the facade. However, the meeting is brutally disrupted by the rapidly approaching civil war. The nineties. The now-raised Karim returns from the United States after the fighting is over, but finds a city he no longer recognizes.
