As I Lay Dying plot

To fulfill the last will of their recently deceased father, three brothers, accompanied by their only sister, drive to a village in a godforsaken area, where he asks to be buried. The heat and the long journey make the experience unbearable, especially when the body starts to rot. This is the moment for the eldest brother, who is exhausted and angry, to express the long unspoken grudge against the youngest brother who has cared for the father for years.
