Arche Nora plot

Shortly after World War II, Klaus Schriewer and Peter Stoll try to make ends meet by transporting goods with a handcart. They live together on a dilapidated boat by the water, which they name "Arche Noah." One day, Klaus saves young Nora from drowning and takes her into their household. The boat's name is soon changed to "Arche Nora," and all seems peaceful until landowner Willi Lüdecke starts making trouble and the girl turns out to be pregnant.
