Apatride plot

"Stateless"

"Apatride" follows the journey of a 35-year-old woman who is haunted by a youth torn apart by forced exile to Morocco. Hénia was 12 when she fled to Morocco with her father, leaving her mother behind in Algeria. Stripped of her identity and origins, the girl grew up with one obsession: to return to Algeria and look for her mother. The search continues to shape her life as an adult woman.
