Anton Tchékhov 1890 plot

The summer of 1890. To earn some money for his family, Anton Chekhov, a modest doctor, writes short stories for newspapers under the pseudonym of Antosha Tchékhonté. Important characters make the writer and editor aware of his talent. His situation improves and Anton Chekhov receives the Pouchkine Prize and Tolstoy's admiration. But when one of his brothers dies of tuberculosis, Anton sees it as a personal failure and wants to escape his fame and his love...
