Another Harvest Moon plot

"When Dignity Means Everything."

Four elderly Americans live in a nursing home. Alice and Frank, June and Ella. Every morning they get together to play a game of cards. In the meantime they have become a real family, they support each other where necessary. One morning, Frank confides to Ella that he doesn't remember his wife's face, and that he doesn't want another stroke. He would like his son, Jeffrey, to give him his old rifle so he can remember his old buddies from World War II. Or is there some other reason he wants the gun? A battle breaks out between Ella and Alice, as they both want to influence Frank's decision, while facing their own fears. On Labor Day, daughter Vickie, son Jeffrey and grandson Jack take Frank on a tour. Once back at the nursing home, Frank makes a decision.
