Anna und Elizabeth plot

The young girl Anna seems to be able to heal people with her prayers. Her whole village is convinced of this, although she herself still has doubts. Then she also becomes known outside the village and the news reaches the aristocratic Elisabeth. No doctor can cure Elisabeth of her paralysis, so she sees a last straw in Anne. She wants to believe in her at all costs. A strange relationship develops between the two women, with tragic consequences.
