Anita plot
Buenos Aires, July 1994: Anita, a young woman with Down Syndrome, is working with her mother in their small stationery store. While her mother is going to the bank, a car bomb explodes at the adjacent Jewish District Center. Anita, who has been left in the store, goes outside to look and finds chaos and destruction. But she doesn't see her mother anywhere. And mother is everything to her; she offered her a protected and loving world, the only world Anita knows. Anita decides to look for her mother, the start of a days-long, heartbreaking journey through the streets of Buenos Aires.
