A beautiful movie.

It actually proves that you don't need an explanatory script to tell your story. As much as is not said, not spoken in this film. Actually, you should not even read the description, because it already gives away something that you can better discover in the film.

No exaggerated romance as we know it as a cliché from Hollywood or the regular soap operas that we are lathered with every day on TV. But therefore all the more real, and very recognizable in real life. More beautiful actually.

What is cleverly done is how the two main characters grow, flourish in the film. Clothilde Hesme in particular shows this strongly. Grégory Gadebois perhaps a little less striking in comparison, a little more subtle, but no less impressive.

Nice piece of work.

Filmed without much frills, this love story between two people, not exactly spoiled by life.

Despite the rough exterior of the two main characters, the director manages to put a lot of emotion into several, usually silent scenes.

Grégory Gadebois, an académie française actor, is also sublime in the drawn fishing environment and we can hopefully expect a lot more from Clotilde Hesme.

The director wanted to make a so(m)ber social drama, but unfortunately could not convince me. Way too messy and not an engaging cast.

The only nice ones were the sets in North West France.
