"Life is what you decide"

Living in the midst of Australia's desolate, desolate landscape, Angela has been waiting all her life. She waits for her boyfriend to return from the army to marry her, she waits for her mother to finally sober up and she waits for her life to finally begin. While waiting for her friend Will to return, she looks around at her depressing environment, her friends with their unplanned pregnancies, desperate marriages and dead-end jobs, and realizes she can't waste the rest of her life in a small town with no future. . As Will prepares to return to the military and her mother moves in with another man, Angela makes a decision that will change her life forever.
