Andrés No Quiere Dormir la Siesta plot
The film is set during the dictatorship in Argentina, in a middle-class neighborhood in Santa Fe. The story is told through the naive and curious gaze of 8-year-old Andrés. He has just lost his mother and now lives with his father and grandmother. The presence of a clandestine detention center in the neighborhood brings Andrés into contact with mysterious figures. He doesn't understand the riots and tensions in the neighborhood and the mystery surrounding his mother's death.
