Andesu no Hanayome plot

The young Japanese woman Tamiko leaves for Peru for a man she has never met. Her husband is a first-generation Japanese and both are bound by the time-honored tradition of arranged marriages. Bringing her child from a previous marriage, Tamiko finds her new husband living with Indians from the Andes Mountains and working for an archaeological expedition. The man and her boy get along well, and Tamiko begins to study and understand the life of the Indians.
