And the Beat Goes On: The Sonny and Cher Story plot

"They didn't change pop culture. They defined it."

Sonny and Cher first met on a double date. The second time Sonny bumped into the remarkable teenage girl, she was waiting for the bus. She had no job and no home, and Sonny offered to live with him. Cher didn't trust this older man's motives until he told her he didn't find her attractive at all. A lie that was the start of a stormy relationship. Based on Sonny Bono's autobiography.
