Ana Yurdu plot

Nesrin, an urban middle-class woman recovering from divorce, returns to her late grandmother's village in Anatolia to complete a novel and fulfill her dream of becoming a writer. When her conservative mother shows up unannounced and refuses to leave, the writing falters and her fantasy of village life is shattered. The two women are forced to confront each other with the dark sides of each other's inner self.
