An Old Fashioned Thanksgiving plot
Widow Mary Bassett and her three children are having a rough time on their farm. In fact, the poverty is so bad that the family cannot afford a turkey for Thanksgiving. So the eldest daughter, Tilly, decides to write to her estranged grandmother Isabella. Touched by the letter, Isabella decides to come to the farm to help her daughter and grandchildren, but this is against Mary's wishes.
