Kafka is straight and Daniel is gay. Yet they start a relationship, thinking that together they can overcome anything, including Kafka's drug use. Daniel has no qualms about his love for Kafka, who tries to love him against his nature. But Kafka is plagued by flashbacks from his straight past and that doesn't make things any easier. Their addiction to love turns out to be more dangerous than their joint use of drugs.
