An Evening Song (For Three Voices) plot

In the year 1939, former child prodigy and writer Barbara Fowler struggles with agoraphobia. She feels completely paralyzed by her phobia, so she decides to move to the countryside with her husband Richard. There, the religious maid Martha helps them with the housework and the three embark on a love affair together.
