Ame no Amsterdam plot

About six thousand large and small Japanese trading companies are located in Amsterdam. Konishi Trading, owned by expat Akira Sakuda, is one of the lowest ranked among them. One day Akira recognizes a beautiful Japanese woman at Schiphol airport. Although the two make eye contact, the beauty completely ignores Akira. But Akira knows for sure, it's Suzu, who he was in love with in high school. She always ignored him at school. Suzu has come to the Netherlands to open a Japanese restaurant and Akira soon finds out her address. However, Suzu always appears to be in the company of Seinosuke Masaoka, from the Dutch branch of Dai-Nippon Trading, Japan's largest and most successful trading company…
