Amarti È il Mio Peccato plot

Monti, Countess Danieli's estate manager, commits suicide after embezzling his employer's money. His daughter Elena asks for help from Sergio, son of the Countess. Despite his mother's disapproval, Sergio hires Elena as a secretary and soon becomes his mistress. With the outbreak of World War II, Sergio is drafted into the Air Force, his plane goes missing and he is believed to have died. Meanwhile, Elena gives birth to a son, but the Countess does not recognize him as her grandchild.
